“Bobaloo” Register, Jr., 78, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 4, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Montgomery, Alabama son of the late Robert S. Register, Sr. and Cecile Rooks Register. Bob was a graduate of Savannah High School and a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. Bob's love of being on the water is what began his career at Thunderbolt Marina in 1969, then to St. Simons, Isle of Hope and then to Spencer Boat Company in West Palm Beach, Florida as a successful yacht salesman. James D. Bertis, 29, died Monday, March 7, 2022 in Hampton County, SC as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. James was born in New Mexico and raised in New Mexico and then Spokane Valley, Washington.
Linda was born and raised in Glennville, GA and spent her married life in Savannah, GA. She was a homemaker while raising her three sons. When her children were grown, she worked at Belk and in the Birth and Death Records Office for the State of Georgia. Linda was a member of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Ascension.

She was preceded in death by her parents , her brothers Gerald Stachowiak, James Stachowiak and Robert Stachowiak. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Barth, her youngest daughter, Maria R. O’Connor and her great-granddaughter Magnolia F. Markle. Jacquelyn Anne Ricks Timms, 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family in Isle of Hope, Georgia on Thursday, June 30th, 2022. She was born in Moultrie, Georgia, on January 4th, 1933.

She was a member of The Landings Club, and The Landings Art Association. She enjoyed many years of golf, tennis, and traveling with her husband. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bradley James Weaver.

Born July 15, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William and Agnes Mahoney.

Emma, his wife was the love of his life and his high school sweetheart. Randy would drive hours to pick up his granddaughter to spend a weekend together. Every Friday he picked up his other granddaughter for the weekend and he and his wife spoiled her every chance they got. He was the best grandfather any girl could ever ask for. Kevin William Sikes, 37, died, Sunday at home in Newington, GA. The Savannah native was a longtime resident of Bulloch and Screven counties.

She is also survived by one sister, Shirley Woods , one brother, Herschel Wise , ... Thomas John Fisk, 67, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at home in Rincon, GA. He was born February 19, 1955 to the late John and Helen Clay Fisk. Thomas graduated from Mount Tabor High School in Winston Salem, NC. As his family would say, “he was a Star Trek nut”.

Ret., 90, departed this earth on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from his home on Dutch Island. “Erv” was born June 4, 1931 in Savannah, GA of proud Scotch-Irish heritage. His late parents were James E. Sloan and Delia King Sloan. He’s also predeceased by his son, Gregory B. Sloan; daughter-in-law, Linda Sloan; stepson, James H. Allen, Jr; grandson, Garrett Sloan; and brothers, Walter M. King, Frank King, James Henry Sloan, and Robert Sloan. Carolyn Lamm Finn, 70, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at Memorial Health.

William Vernon Nelson was born June 20, 1927, in the kitchen of his parents’ home in Thunderbolt, Georgia. His mother then proceeded to finish making lunch for the rest of the family. Richard Edward “Jack” Daniels, Jr., 81, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022 at his home with his wife by his side. Jack was born July 6, 1941 in Shreveport, LA to the late Richard Edward Daniels, Sr. and Marian Meyer Daniels.
